CB&S, military wife, Writing

Welcome to my blog!

Thought and feelings on deployment.

Welcome along.

I don’t know how you found me, but I’m glad you did.

I’ve created this place to blog about life as an air force wife and to gain other peoples experiences.

Why now?  I’ve been thinking about it for a while, but now because, true to form, the air force have yet again messed about with the date for my hubs latest tour and moved it forwards.  Don’t panic I’m not naïve enough to think this will be the date he leaves.  The seasoned tour wives among us know the secret to a successful tour is ‘keep yourself busy’, so this is another way to help achieve that.

The book you may have noticed in my profile I mention a book I’m writing; well CB&S is not a biography, it is completely fictional, but certainly has a flavour and spice of my experiences.  It’s not just about being a military girlfriend, but it’s definitely a key theme.

Any questions give me a shout!

About Natalie James

I'm an air force wife. I've been with my husband since 2006 and married since 2009. He's been in the air force since 2002, so it's all I've known. Whilst we've been together he's been to Iraq and Afghanistan. I'm writing a fictional book on the trials and tribulations of being an air force girlfriend. One day I’m hoping I’ll get it published...one day.

  1. I’m an Army brat myself, but never joined the armed services. I saw your blog and just wanted to drop in and tell you Thank You for all of your sacrifices. Thank your husband for me too, please. When you marry into the military you support the country too, by supporting your spouse. So thank you and best wishes with your blog. 🙂

Best wishes in this new endeavour!
